A Well Done Internet Movie

Postby Tremors » 22 Jan 2009, 13:18

I have said before, that I'm a sucker for amateur/home made movies; the ability to come up with a story and convince your friends and family to play along despite the "you're nuts" factor; the willingness for foot the bill for the hobby, and so on.

I found this amatuer comedy the other day called Gratuates (Pilot), and it was damn funny! Beyond that, the quality was very good; the lighting, sound, the cinematography, the dialog was all impressive for a bunch of college kids.

So if you like college humor, and have about a half an hour to kill, I would recomend: Gratuates

I tried to watch it...out of my deep and abiding respect for Tremors...but it was taking f-o-r-e-v-e-r to download and I finally gave up. :(

That sucks Jane. :( Depending on one's computer/internet, it can make viewing higher resolution vids--particularly those which are longer in length--hard to download and view. I know that even with my work computer, it would take several minutes to download.

BTW, thanks for that "deep and abiding respect"! Its a term I have never heard in reference to me before. 8)
